Bottom Line
Trade The Pool is the only major prop firm dedicated exclusively to US stocks and ETFs — giving stock traders access to 12,000+ symbols including penny stocks, IPOs, and all major blue chips without PDT restrictions or locate fees for hard-to-borrow shares. The 24/5 trading via Blue Ocean, overnight and weekend swing trading, free real-time data, and integrated tools from TraderSync, TrendSpider, Bookmap, and Trade Ideas make it the most feature-complete stock prop firm available. The main concerns are a 70% profit split that is below the 80% standard at most forex/futures competitors, strict consistency rules on MAX accounts, and a 30-second minimum trade duration that can invalidate otherwise valid trades.

Trade The Pool suits active stock day traders and swing traders who want access to a wide US equity universe without risking personal capital. The FLEX MAX Advanced is best for experienced day traders wanting no time limit and simpler consistency rules. The MAX Beginner suits traders who want more drawdown room at a higher fee. Swing accounts suit position traders who need overnight and weekend holding across any US stock or ETF. Not recommended for traders who primarily trade Forex, Futures, Crypto, or Options — these are not available.

⚖️ Our Verdict

4.9/5

Trade The Pool fills a genuine gap in the prop firm industry — dedicated US stock and ETF access with no PDT restrictions, no locate fees, 24/5 trading, and free integrated analytics tools is a combination no forex or futures prop firm can match for equity-focused traders. The 70% profit split is the main financial drawback, sitting below the 80–90% standard across the broader prop industry. The 30-second trade duration rule and 10-cent price range requirement add execution constraints that swing traders rarely notice but day scalpers must carefully manage. For serious stock and ETF traders who want firm capital without the PDT restriction — Trade The Pool is the clear category leader in 2026.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Trade The Pool is a legitimate prop firm registered under Five Percent Online Ltd (Company No. 515864007) in Israel with a UK branch at 168 Praed Street, London, founded in 2022 by Gil Ben Hur — the same founder behind The5ers since 2016. The firm uses Interactive Brokers as its executing broker for funded accounts and provides individual verified payout certificates to all funded traders. A free 14-day trial is available before any evaluation purchase.
Day Trading accounts require all positions to be liquidated 10 minutes before market close at 3:50 PM ET, with overnight buying power significantly reduced during pre and post market sessions. The profit target is 6% and the evaluation has no time limit on FLEX accounts. Swing Trading accounts allow full overnight and weekend holding including pre-market, post-market, and weekend sessions with no buying power reduction. The swing profit target is 15% with a 7% overall max loss. Swing accounts suit position traders who hold stocks for days or weeks, while Day accounts suit active intraday traders.
Trade The Pool requires every trade to have a minimum duration of 30 seconds — meaning positions opened and closed in under 30 seconds are invalidated and do not count toward the profit target. The system measures time using precise millisecond timestamps, so a trade displaying 30 seconds on the dashboard may still be invalidated if the actual duration was slightly under 30 seconds. Similarly, all trades must cover a minimum price range of 10 cents per share. These rules are designed to prevent tick scalping and high-frequency strategies — traders using momentum or swing intraday strategies are generally not affected.
News trading is fully permitted at all times. Short selling is allowed on all stocks including penny stocks with no locate fees or hard-to-borrow restrictions. For Day Trading accounts, overnight positions are allowed but buying power is significantly reduced — a $50K account drops to $8,000 overnight exposure. No positions may be held overnight on stocks that are releasing earnings — these tickers are automatically disabled before the earnings report. Swing Trading accounts allow full overnight and weekend holding with no buying power reduction and no earnings-related overnight restrictions on non-reporting stocks.
Scaling at Trade The Pool works by hitting a 10% validated profit target on the current funded account — the account is then reviewed within 3 business days and a new scaled account is issued with 5% higher buying power. The Daily Loss Pause also increases by 10% at each scale. For FLEX accounts, a minimum of 3 profitable days each with at least 0.5% gain must be achieved before a payout or scale request is eligible. The maximum total buying power achievable through scaling is $6,000,000. Profits generated in one funded account carry over as credits to the next scaled account to help cover any initial losses.
